Loved the OMG roll!!! We also ordered the Nemo roll, which is also delicious. They have this Chef's special roll, you never know what you're gonna get, ordered it few times and it never disappointed me. Food is definitely good at this joint!

My husband and I came on a Wednesday night around 7. The place was packed, and we opted to sit at the sushi bar. Our waitress was attentive and provided great customer service. We got the Sashimi Plate (24 Pcs)-- came with miso soup and a bowl of rice. The fish was chef choice, I have no idea what the different fishes were, but the white fish was absolutely delicious it was my favorite one on the sashimi plate. The booty tempura roll was good, it was heavily coated in batter, but very scrumptious. The spicy mayo drizzled on top and the masago was a great addition. We got the strawberry mochi for dessert. It was just ok, nothing special to note-- I'd skip the dessert next time.

Best sushi in Fresno. Excellent service. And a casual chill vibe . Definitely worth a visit. Finding good sushi inFresno is definitely a challenge being from La there are Tons of options but after moving to central California it seemed almost impossible to find quality sushi . This restaurant is surely a sushi diamond in the rough. So glad I've cornered a good sushi spot here in the Central Valley

Maya Sushi has a wide variety of menu options to choose from to satisfy the whole family and good quality of fish & meats. I love that they have a steak sushi option for the non seafood eaters; also steak al la carte or in a rice bowl. Great service from the nice & friendly staff which were very attentive and also took pictures for our family gathering. They do not serve alcohol of any kind but BYOB is allowed (which is really awesome unless you're wanting hot sake, luckily big cousin had a bottle of Glenlivet in the car ). Great location near other places to grab dessert next door at Chiffonos Bakery & Jamba Juice or shop around the area. Fairly priced for the nicer side of Fresno. They also have a TV at the sushi bar and near the bigger tables to watch football

Always welcoming. Fast orders and good table service for drinks and more food if needed. There are tvs inside that play games like baseball, basketball, basically whatever is in season. It's a bit quiet inside but there's no need to be shy when you're watching/reacting to the games. They do not have an alcohol license anymore so no beer and sake :( Food never disappoints and it's nice to see their smiles both the chefs and FOH workers

The ambiance was casual, this place does not serve alcohol. But it is a great place for family or friend meals. The service was quick and everyone is nice. There were a few tables and everyone's dish looked great. I definitely over ordered for a party of 2 but not upset because I got to try a variety of rolls and their udon.

Ordered sushi to-go so excuse the quality of the picture! The Las Vegas roll was very good and the service was great. They included all the sauces we asked for and chopsticks which you'd think would be expected but it doesn't always happen at other sushi restaurants. Definitely will be back.

Pretty good sushi spot! Came here for dinner and there was ample seating! Our waitress was nice - intermittently checking in on us. Service was pretty efficient. Inside is vibey: kinda dark, broody, and cool aesthetic. Ordered 3 rolls and they were pretty good. The food: 〰 Titanic Roll (4.5/5): My favorite of the 3 rolls! It had all the sushi baddies in one: shrimp tempura, salmon, tuna, and crab! I enjoyed the sauce on top. 〰 Hot Mess (4/5): Shrimp tempura + spicy tuna AND crunchy bits? Come onnnn. Pretty delicious. This roll hit. 〰 Black Widow (3.5/5): Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this roll. However, after the post-eating clarity hit I realized it wasn't as good as other sushi I've had. I can't pinpoint what it was about this roll, but it wasn't my favorite. Is this my favorite sushi spot in Fresno? Unfortunately no. Another sushi spot has my heart. BUT! If I was in the area and had a hankering for sushi, I would be content with this spot. I would love to come here again and try out their other rolls.

I haven't been here in a while, but coming back just brought memories of high school and... Anyways, I always loved this place. I wish I took photos of the store (I'm shy), but I'm sure the other photos will make up for it. It's really nice (esp good for a casual date) and the servers who took our party of 14 in (I'm so sorry, us Filipinos come in groups) we're very helpful and accommodating. I really love the raw sushi options here and their salmon had got to be (arguably) the best I've had in Fresno. As for the miso, idk about you but I've already accepted my fate of hypertension, and I think they had the perfect amount of seasoning to the miso. I hope people continue to gatekeep this place, but def give it a shot.
